How to 'plant' cupcakes inside terra cotta pots 

Thanks to My Cupcake Addition, you can find cupcakes that are appropriate for just about any occasion out there - holidays, work parties, major life milestones, you name it. With hundreds of videos featured on the channel, you can find sweet treats of all sorts. Next time you have a function to attend and you're on the hook for dessert, consider some festive cupcakes.

If you have a family member or friend with a notable green thumb, there's a cupcake out there for them. Elise Strachan, the woman and brains behind My Cupcake Addiction, calls them flowerpot cupcakes. Not only are they adorable to look at, but we're willing to bet that they're pretty delicious too.

To begin, gather some small planter pots and line them with cupcake papers.

Then add the batter of your choice and bake. Strachan uses a chocolate batter in order to keep up the flower facade.

Lastly, pipe on the frosting in a decorative floral design. You can use pieces of candy for the leaves. How cute are these?
