Though the Super Bowl is over and done with, there are plenty of occasions and celebrations that call for tasty appetizers to be served. If you're on the hook for  hors d'oeuvres at an upcoming dinner party, avoid the typical starters that you seem to always see. Instead, shake things up and bring something new to the table.
Rather than pigs in a blanket or deviled eggs, why not whip up some buffalo chicken bites? The recipe comes courtesy of TipHero and is pretty easy to follow along. To get started, mix together cream cheese, green onions, cooked chicken, mozzarella, blue cheese and hot sauce.

If you so desire, you can improvise with the type of cheese and hot sauce you use.
If you don't want to get your hands dirty, mix it up with a spatula until you have a nice, creamy consistency.
After cutting up your crescent roll dough into squares, spoon out the mixture onto each one.
Fold the dough over to enclose the filling.
Use a fork to pat down the edges before sticking your appetizers in the oven.
Serve with a dipping sauce of your choosing and enjoy!
