Milk. Seriously. Though the concept sounds strange at first, but hear us out.
Boiling corn on the cob in milk gives it a rich flavor that far surpasses simply slathering it in butter and salt.
If you want to amp the flavor up even more, you can add a dash of sugar to the milk or season with salt and pepper after the corn has been cooked. Check out the recipe below.
Ingredients
8 ears of corn, hulled and silk removed, then cut in half
1-1/2 cups milk (or almond milk)
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon salt
Pro Tip: If you enjoy a creamier version, add some heavy cream.
