The BBQ Pit Boys strike again with one of their original and delectable meat recipes. In this case, their idea is to add an insanely delectable crispy touch to meatballs with Doritos or any other nacho chips crumbles. As with any good recipe for meatballs, the great part is that they allow a lot of room to exercise your creativity or adapt the recipe to your taste or your family's.
Just season the ground beef how you usually do or experiment a little bit adding several different spices or fresh herbs (as Serious Eats claims, parsley, for example, goes great with meatballs!), a couple of eggs, seasoned breadcrumbs, bacon or prosciutto bites... Really, the sky and your imagination are the only limits to achieve the perfect meatballs! You just have to be careful if you add ingredients with a lot of watery ingredients. Adding fresh diced tomatoes to the meat mixture may make forming the balls a little bit difficult.

For this recipe you will need:
- Ground beef,
- Seasoning for the meatballs (diced onions and garlic, herbs, pepper... To taste!)
- Doritos (you can always experiment with the different flavors!)

Start by prepping the ground beef for the meatballs.
Then, form the meatballs. The BBQ Pit Boys like their meatballs big, but you can make them smaller if you prefer.
Now, with the help of a knife, smash the nacho chips without opening the bag. Pour the crumbles in a bowl or plate.
Start covering the meatballs with the chips crumbles.
Place them on the grill until they're fully cooked. The temperature is 350 and it takes around half an hour. You can also use the oven. In any case, it's good to turn them around and move them a little half way around so they cook evenly.
The BBQ Pit Boys suggest serving these with mash potato, sweet corn, steamed broccoli and delicious gravy...
... but also to make a mouthwatering meatball sandwich such as this one. Simply add some gravy and cheese and place the whole thing on the grill until the cheese is melted.
