Easy whole chicken slow cooker recipe (video)

But life often gets in the way, and that dream can turn into a nightmare when obligations tear you away from home. That's what slow cookers are here for. The recipe presented here is for slow cooker chicken, a delicious meal that can feed your whole family with little to no attention needed.

Ingredients
1 3-pound whole chicken (optional, remove skin)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 6 cloves)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
1. Remove any gizzards from chicken. Gently pull skin away but do not remove. Optional: Cut away any large gobs of fat from butt area. 
2. Wash and pat dry and put it in the crock pot . 
3. Mix together all other ingredients for sauce. 
4. Pour some of the sauce into the cavity between skin and chicken and the rest on top of the chicken . 
5. Cook on low 8 hours, or high for 4. Low is recommended for the "fall apart" taste.
