We'd love to feed our families delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals on a daily basis, but we lead busy lives. It's understandable to choose convenience, especially if you're in a rush and have other things to do besides toil in the kitchen. With the recipe below, however, you won't have to compromise taste for time.
The One Pot Chef strikes again, this time with a recipe that is sure to become one of your family's favorites. Best of all, it's beyond easy to make, thanks to our favorite kitchen MVP: the slow cooker. If you take five to 10 minutes to prepare the meal in the morning, you can come home to the indescribably sublime scent of waiting-to-be-devoured food. Talk about a win-win situation!

To begin, whip up that irresistible sauce. You'll need:
2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
4 tablespoons of cider vinegar
3 teaspoons of oregano
1 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoons of cayenne pepper
1 tablespoons of chili powder
Whisk the concoction until all the ingredients are well-combined.
From there, salt and pepper the ribs according to your preference and pour a liberal amount of sauce over the meat. If possible, it's best to layer the meat and sauce so that all sides are coated.
Once you're satisfied with the amount of sauce you've got in there, cook the ribs on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Don't forget to spoon that extra sauce over the ribs prior to serving. Or, if you prefer, you can collect in it a little dish for dipping.
From there, all that's left to do is dig in!
To take your ribs to the next level, The Stay At Home Chef recommends glazing your ribs with a little extra sauce after taking them out of the slow cooker, then broiling them in the oven for a few minutes to create a caramelized finished.
