In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add your chicken breasts to the pan and cook thoroughly. Move your chicken over to the side of the pan and add your garlic in the center. Cook for about 30 seconds and then add chicken broth and water.
Bring all of these ingredients to a boil, stirring frequently. Make sure to scrape the bottom of your pan as you stir so that the all of the flavors blend into your dish.
Once your water has reached a boil, add in your broccoli and your pasta. You can use any dry pasta you have on hand. Stir to ensure that your noodles are all covered, and bring the water to a boil again. Once the water is boiling, reduce your heat to low and cover your pasta with a lid. Let the dish simmer for about 20 minutes.
You may want to remove the lid part way through to make sure your noddles are still covered and not sticking to your pan.
Once the noodles are completely cooked, remove your pan from the heat and mix the ingredients a bit more. Add your Parmesan and heavy cream to the top of your dish.  Grate a bit of nutmeg on top of your dish to finish it off, and mix everything together.
Once the cheese is melted, it's ready to serve. You can also let it set for a few minutes to thicken up. Serve with a salad or garlic bread for those busy nights when you need to eat and run.
