Begin by cooking your chicken on low to medium heat. Your chicken should cook for about five minutes on each side.
While your chicken is cooking, combine your hot water, butter and stuffing mix in a bowl. Make sure all of the stuffing is moist and then set aside.
Combine your soup and sour cream in a bowl and mix well. After flipping your chicken in the pan, pour your soup mixture over the meat, add the stuffing mixture on top, and cover. Cook this dish on low heat for about 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of your meat reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Quick tip: If you don't have any sour cream on hand, you can use low-fat milk or plain Greek yogurt as a substitute.
This dish should take 30 minutes or less from start to finish! With a quick comfort food recipe that's easy and affordable, you may just start seeing less of your fast food friends.
