Cooking an entire brisket can seem a bit daunting, however, if done correctly it can be a tender, juicy and fantastic cut of beef. As one of the primary cuts of beef, brisket if often used and often seen on menus, but is typically thought of for barbecue. Coming from the lower part of the cow's chest, this cut has a lot of connective tissue and requires thorough cooking.
Though it sounds intimidating, it's actually not, especially with a slow cooker. In this recipe from Allrecipes, you can cook an entire brisket and make a really tasty corned beef. Corned beef may be a dish traditionally served on St. Patrick's Day, but this corned beef is so good you'll want to have it every day.

Beginning with chopped onions, potatoes and carrots, season them accordingly (Allrecipes used the spice packet that is typically included with corned beef brisket as well as some additional spices and water).
Lay your whole brisket on top of the bed of vegetables and cook everything for about eight hours on low.
Once everything is nice and tender, you'll add your roughly chopped cabbage and continue cooking the beef until the cabbage has softened.
Once it's done, slice up your corned beef and enjoy with cabbage, vegetables and a pint of beer (as long as you're 21 and over).
