Honey garlic chicken is easy to make and even easier to eat (video)

Recipes don't need to be incredibly complicated to be packed full of flavor, especially when working with chicken which can end up notoriously dry if not cooked correctly. Luckily, that's where the slow cooker comes in. Combine chicken and a few key ingredients in your slow cooker and let the appliance do the work.

Honey garlic chicken

2 pounds chicken thigh, boneless skinless
3 tablespoons honey
7 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 tablespoon ginger, minced into a paste
3 green onions, thinly sliced at a bias
2 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
Season chicken with salt and pepper, and let marinade for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix together, honey, garlic, cilantro, ginger. Then pour over chicken and massage well into both sides of the meat.
Lay chicken into a 6-quart slow cooker with the skin side facing up (Yes, it is skinless chicken, but facing up where the skin would have been). Sprinkle with green onions.
Cook on low for 2 hours 30 minutes.
Serve with rice or noodles.
