Sesame chicken recipe has good flavor without being overpowering

The beauty of a protein like chicken is that it can adopt almost any flavor. Whether you add sugar to make it sweet, salt to make it salty or even leave it plain for less flavor, chicken adapts accordingly. Put chicken in a slow cooker and all you have to do is give it a perfect sauce to cook in.
That's where this recipe from CookingAndCrafting comes in. Using a simple sauce combined with sesame seeds, you can create this easy chicken dish by simply throwing all the ingredients into the pot and letting the slow cooker do all the work!

Whisk together soy sauce, ground ginger, garlic powder, sesame seeds and ketchup to create the sauce. CookingAndCrafting's exact measurements are in the video below, but if you want to add your own flavors, go ahead! If you'd like a little more spice, you might add a little chili paste or substitute barbecue sauce for ketchup.
You'll then place your chicken into the slow cooker. CookingAndCrafting used a mixture of thigh along with some leftover breast meat, but you could use any cut you'd like and this could even be good with some drumsticks.
Cover the chicken in this sauce and then let the whole thing cook on low for about six hours or so.
Once it's done cooking, you should have a lot of tender chicken meat to enjoy along with some rice or over a salad.
