Not only does the long cooking time break down any chewiness in meat, it's safe to leave on while you head out the door to run errands or spend a day in the park. Slow cooker buffalo chicken sandwiches
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
buffalo sauce 
1 package ranch salad dressing seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
1. Place four chicken breasts (or a mixture of breast and thigh) on the bottom of the 6-quart slow cooker.

2. Pour 3/4 of a bottle (17.5 fl oz) of buffalo sauce on top.

3. Sprinkle half of a 1 oz package of dry ranch salad dressing seasoning.

4. Use tongs to turn the chicken, mixing the ingredients together.

5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours. 
6. Add 2 tablespoons of butter, and mix until it melts into the sauce.

7. Remove the chicken right before serving to shred with a fork.
Alternatively, remove the chicken after 5 hours and shred.

Then return to the slow cooker for another 2 hours to continue to soak up the sauce.

8. Serve in grinder rolls and drizzle a little of the unused buffalo sauce on top. Serve with a side of ranch or bleu cheese dressing.
