Almost everyone loves breakfast foods. Cereal, waffles, eggs, an omelette, pancakes, bacon and sausage among other things are what come to mind when we envision coming downstairs to the dining table for breakfast. However, what if you could combine two of your favorite breakfast foods into one hybrid breakfast treat?
In this fantastic recipe from Byron Talbott, everyone's favorite guilty pleasure protein, bacon and the quintessential breakfast food, pancakes come together. Though it seems like a no-brainer, bacon pancakes are a fun and delicious way to enjoy breakfast in a whole new way.

Begin by cooking your bacon. You can use normal pork bacon, turkey bacon or whatever you prefer. Cook it your preferred way and in a hot, buttered pan, lay your cooked bacon in.
Then using your own pancake batter or a store-bought mix, drizzle the pancake batter directly onto the bacon. Be careful not to pour too much, you just want enough to cover the bacon.
Once one side is done, flip it over and let the other side fully cook. Then serve them with a little bit of maple syrup on top or dip them yourself!
