When it comes to culinary creativity, some of the most fun and delicious experiments aren't done in the fancy kitchens of five-star restaurants...they're done in our own homes. Food doesn't always have to be complicated. If it tastes good and we enjoy it, then why not make it ourselves and enjoy it?
Take for instance this super simple, yet totally delicious looking lasagna recipe from Mitch Cox. Rather than create a traditional slow cooked lasagna with normal lasagna sheet noodles, he substituted some store-bought ravioli. The result is a tasty, extra cheesy pasta hybrid you're sure to enjoy.

Here's what you'll need:
3 cups of pasta sauce (Mitch uses Prego Italian sausage and garlic sauce)
1 bag of store-bought cheese ravioli
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of water
Mitch used some store-bought pasta sauce with sausage here, but you could use your own tomato sauce or use any bottled version you prefer.
You'll then layer cheese raviolis on top of the sauce making sure to form a consistent layer.
On top of that, you'll layer cheese and then more sauce until you reach the top. Then cook the whole thing and it should come out...
like this! Layers of cheesy goodness and pasta sauce in between cheesy ravioli make for the ultimate pasta dish.
