Make a deep dish meat lovers pizza in a slow cooker

Pizza. It's a simple dish, but getting the right flavors and the right texture from a homemade version can be tricky, and a bit time consuming. This easy recipe from Brothers Green Eats shows you how to make the perfect pizza without a pizza pan. And, there's no tossing dough in the air either!
*Side note: As a heads up, these gents are a bit liberal with the language in the video at the end of the article (in case that sort of thing bothers you).

Grab your slow cooker and a few of these ingredients to get started:
Oil
Pizza dough (homemade or store bought)
Mozzarella cheese
Tomato Sauce
Your favorite pizza toppings
Use your fingers to flatten and spread the dough so that you have plenty of room for your favorite toppings. Place the dough in the bottom of your slow cooker. Make sure your dough is completely covering the bottom of the slow cooker.
Next, add your cheese. Yes: your cheese goes on first. Not your sauce. Not your pepperoni. Your cheese. The cheese acts as a buffer so that your dough doesn't get too mushy.
Top that cheese with your favorite tomato sauce and then start adding your toppings. This meat lover's recipe calls for bacon, ground beef and pepperoni, but you can add whatever toppings you like.
Cook your pizza on high for about two to three hours. Presto, pizza! This recipe serves one or two people. Try a larger slow cooker to get a bigger slice. This recipe is simple, tasty and way less messy than tossing floured-dough around the kitchen.
