Typically, we think of pancakes as a buttery, sweet way to start your morning. However, while the traditional buttermilk pancake doused in sweet maple syrup may be the breakfast go-to for many, some prefer a more savory culinary experience.
That's where this fantastic recipe from The Domestic Geek comes in. Rather than whip up the normal sweet pancake, this recipe adds some corn and jalapeños into the batter for a bolder, spicier flavor. A little bit of bacon and some barbecue sauce butter to top it off make it even more irresistible.

1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1⁄2 tsp salt

Using a homemade or store-bought pancake batter of your choice, add a little bit of corn and jalapeños into the batter and mix everything together. Additionally, The Domestic Geek suggests adding a bit of cooked bacon to your batter to make them even better!
Pour out your batter onto a hot skillet and then let them cook. You'll know the pancake is ready to flip once you see little air pockets form in the batter.
Once they're ready, flip them and let them cook on the other side before serving them!
Serve them as is or with a little bit of The Domestic Geek's barbecue brown sugar butter which you can find out how to make in the video down below!
