Lasagna is a classic Italian favorite, but many people may not know that you don't always have to bake the lasagna in the oven -- a time-saving alternative is to prepare the pasta dish in a slow cooker. David, from the popular YouTube show One Pot Chef, gave us his delectable slow cooker lasagna recipe, and it's simply too good not to share! Here's what you'll need to get started:

Method:
1) Add cheeses, spinach, and soup mix to a bowl. Season with pepper and stir to combine.
2) Add a little tomato pasta sauce to cover the base of the slow cooker pot. Cover with a layer of pasta sheets (breaking into pieces to fill in any gaps as required) followed by another layer of sauce.
3) Add half the cheese mixture. Top with more pasta sheets, sauce etc and continue layers until all ingredients are used. The final layer should be the remaining tomato sauce.
4) Put the lid on and turn on the slow cooker to the low setting. Cook for 5 to 6 hours, or until pasta is fully cooked. Top with more grated cheese, replace lid for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve.
