Everyone loves a good dessert, but not everyone loves the time it takes to measure out and bake something homemade. Well, not only is your slow cooker the answer to homecooked meals on a busy schedule, it is also the answer to a delicious homemade dessert, like the recipe below.
What's the best part about the peach cake recipe below? There are few ingredients. Plus, if you cook with a slow cooker liner, clean up is an absolute breeze. How can you not love this recipe?

Ingredients
2 cans of cut peaches (21 oz each)
1 box yellow cake mix
6-oz butter cut into small chunks
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Vanilla ice cream 
Depending on whether or not you are a nut lover: 
1/3 cup walnuts, crushed (optional)
Directions
1. Pour out canned peaches with all the juice into a 6-quart slow cooker. 
2. Evenly pour out cake mix over peaches. Then sprinkle walnuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the top. Do not mix. 
3. Place cut butter slices on top, evenly distributed. 
4. Cook on high 2 hours.
5. Serve with ice cream.
