How to make slow cooker turtle bread pudding

This will become a firm favorite with children and anyone who is still a bit of a kid at heart.
Easy to make and even easier to eat, your home will smell like the kind of chocolate shop you dreamed about when you were a kid.  With chocolate chips, caramel and pecans, there really something to tempt most people, and let's face it, any pudding that isn't about temptation didn't read the rule book.
Switch the pecans for walnuts or hazelnuts if you prefer them, and don't worry if your French bread isn't completely fresh that day; for this recipe, day-old bread will work out just fine.

Instructions:
1.  Spritz your slow cooker with oil and place the bread cubes onto the base, then follow with the chocolate chips, caramel and chopped pecans.
2.  In a separate bowl whisk together the two sugars, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla, coffee, half-n-half and milk, then slowly pour the mixture over the bread cubes and stir until most of the liquid has been absorbed, before cooking on low for 3 - 4 hours.

This delectable dessert is really good served warm, with a scoop of vanilla or caramel ice cream, but it's pretty good cold as well.  Give the kids a bowl of mini marshmallows to sprinkle over the top of their pudding, and see if you can resist popping a few onto yours as well!
