How to make slow cooker honey sesame chicken (video)

The recipe below is a wonderful Asian-inspired chicken dish that will have your taste buds jumping for joy. Your family and friends will love the sweet and sour flavors. The best part? Only 15 mins of prep, and it comes out looking beautiful.
I recommend serving this over jasmine rice. Add steamed broccoli and snow peas, and you have yourself a complete meal! Look at that mouth-watering meat!

Slow cooker honey sesame chicken

3 hours, 45 minutes
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
½ cup diced yellow onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon thinly sliced green onions
Arrange chicken in a 6-quart slow cooker.
Add soy sauce, honey, yellow onion, garlic, hoisin sauce, ketchup, vinegar and sesame oil. Mix well.
In a small bowl, make a slurry by mixing the cornstarch and water, making sure there are no lumps.
Add the slurry into the slow cooker and mix well.
Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
Garnish chicken with sesame seeds and green onions.
