Grab some boiling hot water, your dirty pan, and the denture tablets. (This even works great on crusty slow cookers). Fill your pan to the top the hot water and add three denture tablets. Stir and let it bubble. Once the bubbling subsides, dump the water and tablet mixture and wash with soap and water. (Repeat as needed). The denture tablets loosen the stuck on food so clean up is a breeze!
Denture tablets aren't just good for keeping teeth and pans grime free, here are a few other ways you can put this cleaner to good use, courtesy of Reader's Digest.
1. Put your wedding ring into a glass of water with a denture tablet. Let it set for a few minutes. Remove and rinse.
2. Add a denture tablet with water to a vase to clean out debris and water deposits.
3. Place two denture tablets into the tank of your coffeemaker, add water and watch it clean. Run two cycles of water through the coffeemaker before using it again.
4. Toss a tablet in your toilet and let it set for 20 minutes. Flush.
5. Toss a few denture tablets down your drain and turn on the water. Run the water until your clog is gone. Add 1 cup of white vinegar with the tablets for extra stubborn clogs.
