As we find ourselves on the brink of winter, dreams of creamy chowder and cozy winter nights have started to creep up on us. A chowder is an amazing way to find comfort during the cold winter months, as it is super easy and incredibly budget-friendly to produce. As we do with most recipes, we've made this brilliant winter dish even more accessible by adapting it directly for your slow cooker, allowing you to take care of all of your busy winter errands as your ideal dinner cooks away effortlessly in your favorite cooking vessel.
The combination of starchy potatoes, cooked ham, smoky bacon and crunchy corn produce a chowder so scrumptious, it will taste as though a whole day of cooking (at least) went into the making of it. This is a fabulous dish for the kids to enjoy, and can be kept in the fridge for up to a week, so don't be afraid of making enough for leftovers!
