There's no need to sell anyone on the fact that sloppy joes are an essential comfort food on any dinner table. But it is worth noting that making your own sloppy joes is just about as simple as buying the canned version from the store, except it's a hundred times more delicious — and much cheaper if you make it in bulk.
This slow cooker recipe for sloppy joes takes only five minutes to put together before being left to cook to sloppy perfection, and yes, there is such a thing! You can find many of the base ingredients in your kitchen pantry, making this a cheap, hassle-free dinner, perfect for a low-key weekday meal. This is also a fantastic meal to make ahead of time and store in the freezer for later meals, as it will last for up to three months.
