Pork Lo Mein

Ingredients
Char Siu (prepared barbecue pork), sliced
Lo Mein noodles
1/2 head of napa cabbage
1 yellow onion, sliced
Snow peas
Yellow carrots, sliced
Straw mushrooms
Garlic
Sliced ginger root
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cooking wine
1 tablespoon sugar
Soy sauce
White pepper
Dash of salt
Splash of Sesame Oil
Julienne onions, sliced or chopped
Soybean Oil
Directions
1. Coat the bottom of your wok with soybean oil and get your pan hot. Make sure your pan is very hot, then reduce the heat a bit before adding your other ingredients.
2. Add garlic, cooking wine, and ginger. Next, place your yellow onions on bottom, and cover it with the rest of your vegetables.
3. Add your roast pork and top them with the noodles and mushrooms.
4. Turn the heat up, and add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, a pinch of salt and white pepper to the noodles.
5. Add a splash of water and cover your pan with a lid.
6. Allow the steam to build up for a few minutes to soften the vegetables. Then remove the lid and toss your noodle and meat mixture. Toss and stir well to ensure even coating.
7. Top with onions and sesame oil to finish off the dish.
Pro tip: This dish is flexible. You can add more or less of your favorite vegetables as desired.
