For an impressive entree that is wonderfully easy to prepare, consider a fully cooked ham. All you need to do before serving is heat it up! To make the ham extra delicious, consider dressing it up with a brown-sugar glaze.
The video below from I Heart Recipes demonstrates how to decorate a ham with pineapple and cherries and how to prepare a delicious brown-sugar glaze. The glaze recipe yields enough for a ham up to 8 pounds (3.6 kg) in weight; double or triple the recipe as needed for larger cuts.

Brown-sugar-glazed ham
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Total time: 1 hour, 10 minutes
Serves: 12 to 16
Ingredients
6- to 8-pound (2.7 to 3.6 kg) ham, cooked
Fresh or canned pineapple rings or pieces (optional)
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Glaze
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (149 degrees Celsius).
2. Prepare an appropriately sized baking dish or roasting pan by lining it with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place ham inside. If decorating with pineapple and cherries, use toothpicks to secure fruit to the ham.
3. Combine glaze ingredients in medium-sized bowl. Drizzle glaze over the ham, ensuring that all sides are covered.
4. Bake ham in oven, uncovered, for one hour.
I Heart Recipes recommends serving the glazed ham with southern side dishes: collard greens, sweet potato pie, candied yams, baked macaroni and cheese, and a cobbler for dessert!
