Egg-slicers may seem a pretty one-dimensional tool, but DaveHax sets about slicing a few things you might never have imagined in this video. From potatoes to even perfectly sectioned chilled butter, there's actually a lot more to be accomplished by this slicing wires than you might think.
"I'm using this metal slicer because it's nice a strong," the narrator begins. However, egg-slicers come in a range of weights and costs from plastic to stainless. The frame material doesn't matter so much as long as the metal wires remain solid and fairly taut.
