How to make slow cooker granola bar

Granola bars never get old. They are the perfect go-to snack to fill you up when you need something quick.
This recipe has 10 simple-to-find ingredients. Oats, seeds, and dried fruit will give you that extra time you need before you can actually sit and enjoy a meal. It requires no oven or stove top time.

Outside of the slow cooker all you need is to melt a little butter in the microwave and you're ready to go. The beauty of the slow cooker is that you can just spend 15 minutes prepping this and then you forget it. Get something else done in the 2 hours cook time, and come back to a delicious snack/breakfast!

Slow cooker granola bar

1 sheet parchment paper
½ cup honey
¼ cup unsalted butter melted
3 cups rolled oats
½ cup unsalted raw sunflower seeds
1½ cup raw almonds
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup dried cherries
½ cup dried cranberries
Line a 6 quart slow cooker with parchment paper.
In a bowl mix together hot/warm melted butter and honey.
Add into the slow cooker all ingredients from rolled oats to cranberries then mix.
Drizzle honey and butter mixture over top and stir until everything is coated.
Press everything together using your hands or the bottom of a measuring cup. Make sure to press down hard for everything to come together.
Cook on high for 2 hours.
Lift parchment paper with granola out of slow cooker.
Allow to completely cool for 30 minutes before slicing into bars.
