How to make slow cooker sweet potato mash

Print this recipe
Mash potatoes are a staple in almost all American households. Sweet potatoes are usually reserved for pies around the holidays. With this recipe we let the savory side of the sweet potatoes shine.
Sweet potatoes naturally have a beautiful sweetness to them, known as nature's candy for their ability to produce a caramel like syrup when cooked. We pair that sweetest with the robust taste of garlic and herbs. Then add cream cheese and parmesan to smooth it all out with a creaminess that'll be difficult to forget.
