How to make glazed pork chop in a slow cooker

Print this recipe
Oh my gosh...Peaches, mustard and pork chops. Whoever thought of this combination is a genius! I love this combo so much that I'm actually starting to get hungry just writing this. I like to serve these pork chops over a wild rice pilaf and some green veggies such as asparagus, potatoes, carrots or spinach. Try this combo and you will have a very happy family!
In this recipe I like to use peach jelly. It has a sweetness to it that goes really well with the pork and mustard. The mustard and vinegar add a tasty zing to the dish that will make your mouth water! For this recipe I recommend searing the pork chops in a pan before adding them to your slow cooker. This will create a wonderful flavor and color to the pork chops. But because there is so much flavor in the sauce, searing is optional. Whatever you decide to do, four hours later it will all be worth it!

4 hours 10 minutes
½ cup peach jelly
1 tablespoon minced garlic
½ cup thinly sliced onion
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (optional)
2 pounds pork chops
2 tablespoons roughly chopped parsely
In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine everything from peach jelly to seasoned salt. Submerge pork chops in slow cooker.
Set slow cooker to low and cook for 4 hours on high.
Garnish with parsley.
Optional Pro Tip: Searing your pork chops before adding to the slow cooker will add a deeper pork flavor and nice color to your pork chops. Set a skillet to medium high heat, add vegetable oil. When hot, sear pork chops, 2 minutes per side, or until they turn golden brown. Submerge in slow cooker and cook.
