Parmesan and chicken, how can you go wrong? The classic Italian chicken Parmesan, breaded and fried covered in tomato sauce and topped with melted bubbling Parmesan. In the recipe below we take all those things we love about that classic dish and put into a chicken wing, with a little extra twist!
We start of by simply mixing garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano and grated Parmesan cheese. This will form a beautiful on those wings while still keeping them nicely moist and tender from the slow cooking. We drizzle honey onto the wings then season with salt and pepper. The honey helps the Parmesan stick to make a nice crust. Then toss them in the Parmesan mixture right before cooking. Served with some warm marinara sauce for dipping and you'll have a chicken wing to die for.
