5 natural ways to dust your electronics

Dusting electronics can feel a bit dicey. Screens and keyboards collect dust like it's going out of style, but wiping down your flat screen or your computer doesn't always feel very safe. (I'm usually afraid I'm going to trip and knock the TV over or ruin my computer screen).
Fortunately, there are plenty of simple ways to clean your electronics without spending lots of cash or using harsh chemicals.

1. Use a dryer sheet to dust your TV
After you've tried your laundry, don't toss out the used dryer sheet! Jessica from Mom4Real recommends grabbing it out of the dryer and using it to dust your TV (screen and vents). The dryer sheets will pull dirt from your screens, vents and, speakers. (This works on cable boxes and game systems too!)
2. Use a coffee filter and white vinegar to clean your computer
Mix equal parts purified water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray a soft rag with the solution and wipe your computer screen clean. 3. Dust your keyboard with a sticky note

4. Use rubbing alcohol to dust your DVD player
To clean the dust from the nooks and crannies on your DVD player, dip a cotton swab in some rubbing alcohol and use the swap to remove the dust. To remove dust from the disc tray, try some compressed air or your vacuum cleaner, Top Cleaning Secrets recommends.
5. Use a humidifier and/or air purifier
Reduce the amount of energy you have to spend on dusting, but reducing the amount of dust in your home. A simple solution: invest in an air purifier and/or humidifier to keep static levels low. Air purifiers remove dust and dirt from the air, Bob Vila recommends.
