This Asian-inspired delight will have your family excited to come home to the dinner table. Chicken breast, green beans and a tangy-sweet sauce make this dish a winner!
You start by mixing honey, sesame oil, onion, garlic and soy sauce right in the slow cooker to make the sauce. The honey is the star ingredient of this dish, adding a wonderfully sweet flavor. Sesame oil gives the chicken an amazing nutty flavor and aroma. Add the chicken breasts and let your slow cooker get to work while you enjoy your day, stress-free. Add the green beans and in just a few minutes, your honey chicken is done! Serve with a side of ginger rice.

Slow cooker honey chicken

¼ cup honey
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 onion, small dice
⅓ cup soy sauce
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
12 ounces frozen green beans
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine honey, sesame oil, garlic, onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a 6-quart slow cooker. Submerge chicken breast.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours, 30 minutes.
Add green beans. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Serve with ginger rice.
