1. Clean a toilet
Commercial toilet cleaners use acidity to power through tough toilet stains and rings. However, they include many harmful chemicals that you may not want to expose your family to. Pouring a generous amount of cola into your toilet works just as well and the over-priced options from the store. Just let it do its magic for one hour to overnight. You won't have to scrub at all, a quick flush is all it takes to get a nice, clean toilet.

2. Remove burnt food from pans
There is nothing worse than trying to scrub the burnt food off a pan. It takes forever and makes a huge mess. Use Coca-Cola to transform the task into a simple job. Allow the coke to soak into the burnt on food for at least 20 minutes, then wash as normal. No scrubbing required.

5. Boost your plants

6. Remove tough stains
The carbonic and phosphoric acids in coke won't damage your fabrics, but they do act as a tough stain fighter. Adding Coca-cola to your wash cycle helps power through grease, stains, and dirt. Both you and your laundry can share a coke as you wait for the load to wash.

8. Remove oil stains from concrete
Oil stains can mar your driveway or garage with unsightly spots. Simply rinsing with a water hose doesn't remove the stains. However, a few cans of coke may be you solution. Just pour room-temperature colas over the stains and allow to rest overnight. Rinse in the morning to reveal spotless concrete.

9. Give your curls a shiny boost
It may seem odd to add soda pop to your hair, but if you have curls it can give you the shine and control you seek. The acid in the coke makes the cuticle of the hair contract and lay smoothly. This creates shine and a smooth texture. Simply add to hair, allow to work for up to 10 minutes, and then shampoo as normal.
