Preparation time: 20 minutes
Total time: 50-55 minutes
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
2 cups of pasta
2 teaspoons of olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound of lean ground beef
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon granulated sugar.
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups of cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
Directions
1. To begin, boil your pasta until it's al dente then toss with 2 teaspoons of olive oil or vegetable oil to prevent sticking then set it aside for later.

2. In a medium saucepan, cook your garlic, onions, and ground beef. Once the meat is browned and completely broken up, add in the tomato paste and diced tomatoes. Stir and add the sugar.
3. Throw in the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce for a little bit of a kick. Add the salt and pepper. Let the sauce thicken up and stir to make sure all the ingredients are well-combined. Add the bacon crumbs and mix it up.
4. Then, pour your drained pasta into your casserole dish and pour the sauce and meat on top.
5. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

6. Carefully take the casserole out of the oven, sprinkle a generous amount of cheese over the top, and put it back in the oven — uncovered — for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
From there, all that's left to do is serve and enjoy!
