2. Wash with soap and water
For huge messes, simply turn to warm water and a bit of dish soap. Use a non-abrasive sponge and your homemade quartz cleaner, also known as soapy water, to gently erase messes from your quartz. You can even add a bit of vinegar if you need extra cleaning power. Dry with a paper towel. You can even follow up with glass cleaner for a shiny finish, if necessary.

3. Avoid causing damage
Improper cleaning leads to damage to the surface of your quartz countertops. This often appears as streaks and dull spots. You counter isn't dirty, it is damaged. To avoid damage, use the gentlest cleaner possible. Avoid commercial cleaners with high or low pH values. Abrasive cleaners, metal scrubbers and scouring pads can all cause damage.
4. Use a poultice stain remover
For the stubborn stains on quartz counters, sometimes you need a bit of extra help. A non-acidic poultice stain remover is the solution to your stained quartz problem. The fine powder is mixed with water and apply thickly to the stained surface. It is sealed with plastic for 24 hours and then allowed to dry for 24 hours. Once dry, it is scraped away to reveal a flawless quartz surface.

5. Use your hand
One of the biggest advantages of quartz is that most color patterns hide dirt and grime. You simply don't see it is dirty. To get the best clean possible, you need to feel the surface. Run your hand over your quartz. Dirty spots will feel rough. Give these areas a bit more attention.
