Everyone could use a taste of the islands once in awhile, and in the recipe below, you can have it anytime you want. And it will all come out of your slow cooker, with almost no effort from you required. But don't think that just because this dish doesn't require a ton of work means that it won't have a ton of flavor.
It starts with pork chops that are laid in the bottom of a slow cooker. Then pineapple chunks, brown sugar, and soy sauce are poured over them. Dotted on top of this already-delicious goodness are pickled jalapeño peppers that give the entire thing the tiny bit of heat it needs. If you really want to take one more step, you can even mix the sauce with a little bit of cornstarch mixed with water when everything's done. But I find it's perfectly flavorful just the way it is.
