I have always loved tuna – even when I was a little kid. I would always ask my mom to make me tuna melts. Now that I am an adult, I love it even more. I don't know why, but I had never thought to make it in a casserole.
There's a first time for everything, though, and now that I have seen these recipes, you better believe I am having tuna casserole tonight. Take a look at these videos to see just how yummy tuna casserole can be.

1. Tuna casserole
This casserole dish is a classic. It features tuna, macaroni and a creamy cheese sauce. This dish works well with leftover pasta. Although the recipe calls for elbow macaroni, spaghetti or penne pasta also are acceptable.
2. Extra cheesy tuna casserole
There's nothing better than when two childhood favorites come together to make one perfect meal. As the recipe below shows, that is just what this one does. It's like creamy cheesy macaroni and cheese combined with the goodness of tuna casserole. And just like those two dishes have people going back for seconds separately, they'll be coming back for thirds for this one.
3. Spinach and tuna casserole
Spinach may not be the first ingredient you think of when you think of tuna casserole, but maybe it should be. Think of this as a tuna casserole that gets a seriously elegant upgrade. There are no peas and no mushroom soup. Instead, it's just fresh ingredients that take that your mom's tuna casserole and turn it into something truly special.
4. Cabbage noodle tuna casserole
Who says zucchini should have all the fun when it comes to turning vegetables into noodles? As you can see in the recipe below, it can be done with other vegetables too, including cabbage. As it turns out, when cabbage becomes really soft and tender, it can be just as satisfying, more nutritious and not pack on calories like high-carb pasta does.
5. Tuna melt casserole
Tuna melts have a few requirements, including that they contain a lot of tuna. They can be topped with caramelized onions and tons of gooey cheese. Another variation is piling the mixture in between slices of crispy rye bread. For a different kind of tuna melt, make the casserole recipe below.
