This 3-ingredient party pleaser is the recipe you wished you had

When you need a party dish that’s easy to make, mini sausages are an obvious choice. The recipe below wraps them in smoky bacon and then cooks them in brown sugar so that they become crisp and glazed. The salty-sweet combination is totally addictive.
You can use any mini sausages you like for these. I like to use chicken-apple sausages or just basic mini-hot dogs or even Vienna sausages. This recipe only uses three ingredients, but you can spice it up any way you like. For instance, you could add a couple of tablespoons of Dijon mustard, bourbon or sriracha to the brown sugar. You can’t really go wrong here.

1 (1-pound) package mini sausages
1 (12-ounce) package bacon, strips cut in half
¾ cup brown sugar
Wrap each of the mini sausages with a half-strip of bacon. Secure the bacon onto the sausage with a toothpick.
Arrange half of the wrapped sausages in the slow cooker and sprinkle half the brown sugar over the top. Repeat with the remaining sausages and brown sugar, layering them on top of the first layer of sausages.
Cover and cook for 6 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
Serve hot.
