Mix peaches and prepared biscuits for a effortless dessert

Print this recipe
Simpler than a pie, denser than a crisp, a cobbler is a dessert favorite for a reason – and contrary to some other recipes, the recipe below couldn't be easier to make. Canned peaches are topped with canned biscuits for a dessert that has all the flavor of homemade at a fraction of the effort, thanks to a little bit of doctoring with sugar and spices.
The flavor combination in this cobbler is Southern to the max: peaches play with pecans, cinnamon, and a hint of bourbon. A cinnamon-sugar topping on the golden brown biscuit topping brings out all of those rich flavors for a summery dessert that can be made any time of year.
