One of my all-time favorite ways to blend sweet and savory flavors is this slow cooker Hawaiian pork chops recipe. Inspired by the tropical tastes of Hawaii, these pork chops are a delightful mix of juicy pineapple and tender meat, making them a perfect family dinner or an impressive dish to serve guests. Plus, it’s super easy to prepare, which is ideal for those busy weekday evenings when you don’t have much time but want something delicious. Trust me, you'll love the way your kitchen smells as it cooks all day!
These Hawaiian pork chops are incredibly versatile. I love serving them with a side of fluffy white rice to soak up all the sweet and savory juices. They also pair wonderfully with a light and refreshing cucumber salad or some steamed green beans to add a bit of crunch and freshness. If you're feeling extra tropical, serve them with a side of grilled pineapple slices for that extra punch of fruity goodness!

Slow Cooker Hawaiian Pork Chops
Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 boneless pork chops
1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, with juice
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced (red or green)
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Directions
Place the pork chops at the bottom of your slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix the pineapple chunks and juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, onion, bell pepper, ground ginger, and black pepper.
Pour the mixture over the pork chops, making sure they are well-covered.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the pork chops are tender.
About 30 minutes before serving, mix the cornstarch and water together to form a slurry.
Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and cook for an additional 30 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Serve the pork chops hot, with plenty of the sauce spooned over the top.
Variations & Tips

If you prefer a little heat, add a chopped jalapeño or some red pepper flakes to the mix. You can also substitute chicken breasts or thighs if you’re not a fan of pork. For a lower-sugar option, swap the brown sugar for a natural sweetener like honey or agave syrup. And if you’re short on time in the morning, prep everything the night before and just pop it into the slow cooker before you leave for work!
