Cheesy garlic pull-apart bread is one of those dishes that instantly brings people together. It's perfect for game nights, potlucks, or just a cozy evening at home. I first stumbled upon this recipe during a particularly hectic week at work, and it quickly became my go-to for a quick yet satisfying treat. The combination of gooey cheese, fragrant garlic, and warm bread is simply irresistible. Plus, it's a great way to use up any leftover bread you might have lying around.
This cheesy garlic pull-apart bread pairs beautifully with a fresh green salad or a hearty bowl of tomato soup. If you're hosting a gathering, consider serving it alongside a charcuterie board with assorted meats and cheeses. For a more casual setting, it goes great with a cold beer or a glass of your favorite wine.

Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients
1 large loaf of sourdough or Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Using a serrated knife, carefully cut the bread into a grid pattern, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper.
Using a spoon or a brush, drizzle the garlic butter mixture into the crevices of the bread.
Stuff the shredded mozzarella cheese into the cuts of the bread, making sure it's evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the bread.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Variations & Tips
For a spicy kick, add some red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture. You can also experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or gouda for a unique flavor profile. If you're a fan of herbs, consider adding some thyme or rosemary. For a more substantial dish, add cooked bacon bits or diced pepperoni into the crevices along with the cheese.
