Slow cooker garlic butter beef tips are a delightful blend of rich flavors and tender textures, perfect for those who appreciate a hearty, comforting meal. This dish draws inspiration from classic American comfort food, with a nod to French cuisine's love for butter and garlic. The slow cooking process allows the beef to become incredibly tender, absorbing the savory garlic butter sauce. It's an ideal recipe for busy individuals who want to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal without spending hours in the kitchen.
These garlic butter beef tips pair wonderfully with creamy mashed potatoes or a side of buttered egg noodles, which soak up the delicious sauce. For a lighter option, serve them over a bed of steamed rice or alongside a fresh green salad. A side of roasted vegetables, such as carrots or Brussels sprouts, would also complement the rich flavors of the beef.

1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water

Variations & Tips
For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of red wine to the sauce before cooking. If you prefer a bit of heat, a pinch of red pepper flakes can be added along with the other seasonings. For a more robust herb flavor, substitute the dried thyme with fresh thyme or rosemary. You can also add sliced mushrooms or pearl onions to the slow cooker for additional depth and texture.
