Southern Deviled Eggs

Ingredients
6 large eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish
Chopped fresh chives for garnish (optional)
Directions
Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and cover. Let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes.
Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with chopped chives if desired.
