Variations & Tips
For a lighter version, use turkey sausage or chicken sausage instead of pork sausage. You can also swap out the cheddar cheese for mozzarella or a blend of your favorite cheeses. If you have picky eaters, consider adding some sweet corn or peas for a touch of sweetness. For a gluten-free option, ensure your broth is gluten-free and consider adding a sprinkle of gluten-free breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
