Cooktop Cove: How to make garlic ranch wings in a slow cooker
By John Jasins
These ranch flavored chicken wings are the perfect party treat. With only 3 ingredients, the recipe below will have you jumping for joy at the taste. These little guys are the perfect party food for the next bbq, pool party or game day! I recommend serving them blue cheese dressing. For a fun twist, serve them with a side of hot wing sauce for reverse Buffalo Wings!
You can use your slow cooker as a bowl and toss everything in at once. Ranch seasoning along with fresh minced garlic pack a powerful punch of flavor with none of the stress. Give it a good mix and start slow cooking away! 3 hours later you will have the most tender and flavorful chicken wings. You can either stop here and serve or crisp them up in a hot oven. If you have an oven, a cookie sheet and some extra time I recommend adding this step. You won't be sorry and neither will your guests!

2 (1 ounce) packets of ranch seasoning mix
5 cloves minced garlic
In a 6-quart slow cooker add chicken wings, ranch seasoning and garlic. Stir until chicken wings are covered evenly.
Cook on high for 3 hours.
Pro Tip: Use your oven to crisp up your wings. Preheat oven to 450°F. Transfer wings onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and gently toss with canola oil. Arrange one layer of wings. Bake in oven until the skin turns crispy, about 10 minutes
