By John Jasins
Simple and delicious. That's the name of the game when it comes to this brown sugar chicken dish. This is a great anytime dish that your family and friends will be dying for after you make it the first time. With Asian flavors and ingredients, you can serve this up instead of ordering takeout, and no one will know the difference!
Start by adding everything except the chicken into your slow cooker. The brown sugar and soy sauce bring a rich, sweet flavor, while the ginger and chili flakes add a touch of spice. By adding cornstarch before you cook, you will get a slightly thick and silky sauce to cover the chicken. Add your chicken, set it and forget it! Serve this wonderful slow-cooked chicken dish over a side of garlic rice, and you have an amazing complete meal that your family will be drooling over!
