Cooktop Cove: How to make slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches
By John Jasins
One of my favorite party foods of all time is pulled pork barbecue sliders. These perfect minisandwiches are a classic. Serve them up at the next pool party, tailgate party or birthday celebration. I personally love making these delicious little sandwiches for dinner. Actually, they are just about perfect at any time of the day! Bring on the pulled pork sliders!
With only four ingredients, these babies are so easy to make. Start by adding barbecue sauce and pork shoulder to your slow cooker (I love using Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce because it has an amazing smoky, tangy flavor), turn on low and let it do its thing while you enjoy your day! Come back in eight hours and shred up the succulent pork shoulder, mixing it with the barbecue sauce. Next, build your sandwiches. I like using Monterey Jack cheese in my sandwiches for a little creaminess. Serve with Fuji apple coleslaw for a complete meal that your family will love!
