Cooktop Cove: How to make slow cooker Teriyaki pork chops
Teriyaki and pork are a match made in heaven. This asian inspired slow cooker dish will have your friends and family begging for seconds when they try these succulently sweet teriyaki pork chops. The ginger and garlic add wonderful aromatics while the soy sauce adds a bit of salty and savory goodness. The teriyaki sauce is rounded out with a bit of sugar to add a touch of sweet flavor. Finally, broccoli is added at the end of cooking to add a bit of fresh texture.
These Teriyaki Pork Chops can go directly into the slow cooker or simply combine all of the ingredients except the broccoli into a large zip lock bag and store in the freezer for 2-3 weeks. Only 10 minutes of simple prep make this the perfect meal to make if you are on the run or have a busy week. The only thing that you need to add is the fresh broccoli at the end! Prep, freeze and then cook whenever you're ready! Serve with Ginger Rice for a delicious and complete meal!
