93-year-old great-grandmother shows off Great Depression breakfast recipe

During the Great Depression, Clara and her family didn't have much. However, the 93-year-old lovingly recounts Sunday mornings, which were always reserved for this special breakfast recipe. 
In the video below, Clara Cannucciari shows how to make these special breakfast sugar cookies using only sugar, flour, and eggs, all while reminiscing about her childhood days. Keep reading to understand the magic of this recipe.

The recipe that Clara shows us in the video below is called "Depression breakfast." 
Below are all the ingredients you need: 
- Sugar
- Flour
- Eggs
- Pinch of salt
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Crack 3 eggs and whip.

2. Measure 3/4 cup of sugar. Pour sugar into egg mixture.
3. Beat the mixture. Add 1.5 cup of flour and add to liquid mixture. Continue mixing (using spatula is preferred) until it's like a dough and you don't see anymore flour.

4. Add a pinch of salt. Add another 1.5 cup of flour to make the dough drier and thicker.
5. Roll the dough into a long strip on the cutting board. Keep adding flour to the board so the dough doesn't stick.
6. Cut onto greased baking pan and place into oven.
7. Bake until golden in color. Clara likes to make coffee while these cookies are baking.
