Cooking dinner can be a pain when you have to cook ingredients separately. However, the beauty of a slow cooker is that you can cook all your ingredients in one pot. Whether it's vegetables, sauce or meat you can mix everything together or layer each ingredient. Regardless, once it's cooked, your dinner is cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor.
In this hearty recipe, layers of barbecue sauce and pork come together with beans and corn to form a flavorful dinner on their own.

4 hours, 15 minutes
4 pork chops (bone in is better for flavor but if you prefer no bone do what makes you happy)
2 cans cooked navy beans
2.5 cups BBQ sauce (use your favorite)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1.5 teaspoon worcestershire
2 ears corn - cut in half
3 cloves garlic - peeled and minced into a paste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons salt (add more to taste if preferred)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a 6-quart slow cooker mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, worcestershire and 1 teaspoon salt and pepper. Dip in pork chops so they are fully coated and arrange evenly in slow cooker. Cook on low for 2.5 hours.
Remove pork chops and half of BBQ sauce and set aside. Then add in beans, mix throughly into sauce then return pork chops on top of beans. The removed BBQ sauce should not get added back.
Combine remaining salt, garlic and lemon juice and use to coat corn. Place corn on top of pork chops and allow to cook for another 1.5 hours on high then serve!
Pro tip: If you want the corn to really stand out more throw some of your favorite cheese on top 10 minutes before it's all done. Put the lid back on and let it melt, now you have cheesy garlic corn, yum.
